Terms of Service

Welcome to Little Unicorn Preschool! We’re thrilled to be part of your child’s early education journey. Before we jump into a world of creativity, giggles, and learning, please take a moment to read through our Terms of Service. This document outlines your rights and responsibilities as a valued member of our preschool family.

By enrolling your child in Little Unicorn Preschool, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Terms of Service

Enrollment and Admission

Eligibility

Children are eligible to enroll based on age requirements for each specific program. Little Unicorn Preschool proudly promotes diversity and inclusivity, welcoming children from all backgrounds and abilities.

Registration Process

To complete enrollment, parents or guardians must fill out the necessary registration forms and provide up-to-date documentation. This includes medical records, emergency contacts, and any required care instructions. Acceptance is subject to availability.

Trial Period

We offer a two-week trial period for new children. This gives families and educators the chance to assess fit and comfort. If needed, we’ll work together to find the best next steps.

Tuition and Fees

Payment Terms

Tuition payments are due on or before the 1st of each month. All payments must be made in full to maintain your child’s enrollment. Delayed payments may incur late fees as outlined in this Terms of Service.

Refund Policy

Tuition fees are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for medical or emergency situations, subject to review by school administration. This Terms of Service applies to all tuition-related matters.

School Hours and Attendance

Operating Hours

We are open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The school is closed on public holidays and may close for special staff training or events—prior notice will always be provided.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Only authorized adults may drop off or collect children. Written consent is required if someone new will be picking up your child.

Absences

We appreciate a quick message or call if your child will be absent. This helps us with planning and ensures all children receive the attention they need.

Health and Safety

Illness Policy

To protect all students, children who are unwell (fever, flu, contagious conditions, etc.) must stay home. If a child falls ill during school hours, parents will be notified immediately.

Medication

Medication will only be administered by staff if a signed consent form is provided. All medication must be clearly labeled with the child’s name and dosage instructions.

Emergency Procedures

We have comprehensive emergency protocols in place and conduct regular safety drills. All incidents will be communicated transparently with families, as detailed in this Terms of Service.

Curriculum and Activities

We offer a balanced program that includes early literacy, numeracy, arts and crafts, music, physical education, and social development. Play-based learning is at the core of everything we do.

Field Trips

Occasional field trips may be planned. Parents will always be informed in advance and must sign a permission slip. Any related costs will be clearly communicated.

Communication and Updates

Open and honest communication is a top priority. We keep parents informed through regular newsletters, emails, and parent-teacher meetings.

For urgent updates, please contact our administrative office directly. All communication practices are governed by our Terms of Service.

Behavior and Discipline

Positive Discipline

Our behavior policy encourages kindness, patience, and cooperation. We use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques suited to each child’s age and stage.

Extreme Cases

If a child’s behavior consistently disrupts the learning environment or endangers others, we will work with parents to explore alternative strategies. In rare cases, we may recommend specialized support or transition to a different program.

Personal Belongings

Please label all personal items clearly. While we do our best to keep track of belongings, Little Unicorn Preschool is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Privacy and Media

Media Consent

We may take photos or videos of children during school events or activities for internal documentation and promotional use. If you prefer your child not be photographed, please inform us in writing.

Data Protection

All personal information collected is used solely for school operations and is protected in accordance with this Terms of Service.

Changes to the Terms of Service

Little Unicorn Preschool reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. All changes will be communicated in advance via email and posted on our official noticeboard.

Your continued enrollment after any modifications indicates acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
